Pottery Workshop and Tour in South Korea

Our most recent tour took place in August of 2024. The two week tour included 5 days of hands-on workshops with Korean masters, 2 days of tourism in Seoul, and several more days of local sight-seeing in Icheon.

This tour will be led by Unha Hill - a South Korean born, Canadian artist with over 20 years of experience in pottery, teaching and hospitality. Discover the artistry of South Korea through a pottery boot camp & cultural expedition. Meet the Masters 
 

Kim Seong-Tae - A third generation master potter experienced in Celadon ware and known for his multi-layered slip carving techniques and traditional Korean motifs 

​

Kang HwaSu - Holds a PhD in ceramics and specializes in sculptural pottery and unique glazes. HwaSu also speaks English.

Tentative Itinerary

An initial deposit is due on December 31, 2024 for early bird securement.

The final payment must be made by January 31, 2024. 

 

Make sure to communicate any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking. The trip will include a moderate level of physical activity, and is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.
